Faridabad Diocese for Syro- Malabar Catholics in Delhi
The Holy Father Benedict XVI erected the new eparchy of Faridabad for the Syro-Malabar Catholics in Delhi and appointed the first Eparchial Bishop Rev. Bharanikulangara Archbishop Kuriakose, the clergy of Ernakulam-Angamaly of the Syro-Malabar, giving it the dignity of Archbishop ad personam.
The news was announced in Vatican as well as at Mount St Thomas, Kakkanad at 4.30 pm on 6th March 2012.
